Meet The Team Of Dentists

Dentist
Dr. Wayne Dunn, DDS.
Dr. Wayne P. Dunn, DDS. , born in England, has European roots, including Irish heritage from his mother, Eileen. Raised in Pettyville-Mineral Wells, he values his farm upbringing as "a piece of heaven." With a degree in Forestry and Wildlife Management from West Virginia University, he has also dedicated himself to community service, actively supporting various social causes through his dental practice.

Dr. Miranda Dunn, DDS.
Dr. Miranda Dunn, DDS. , hails from Mineral Wells, West Virginia, and is a proud graduate of Parkersburg South High School. After beginning her collegiate journey as an athlete at Coastal Carolina University, she completed her bachelor's degree at Virginia Tech and earned her Doctor of Dental from West Virginia University in 2009. As a dedicated member of the American Dental Association and several other prestigious organizations, Dr. Dunn offers comprehensive general dentistry alongside therapeutic and cosmetic Botox and dermal filler treatments. Her commitment to community service is evident through her active participation in Mission of Mercy clinics and the Smiles For Life Program, providing essential dental care to those in need.

Dr. Jason Bowling, DDS.
Dr. Jason Bowling, DDS, was raised in Parkersburg, WV and graduated from Parkersburg South High School in 1996. He attended Virginia Tech and graduated with a bachelor's degree in Biochemistry/Biotechnology in 2001. During his curriculum, he was awarded a fellowship to conduct research at Fralin Biotechnical Center and then spent a year working for a private biotech company associated with Virginia Tech. Dr. Bowling was accepted into West Virginia University School of Dentistry and graduated with a Doctor of Dental Surgery degree in 2005.
Dr. Bowling has volunteered for the Mission of Mercy projects, the Smiles for Life program, and other local activities aimed at improving the oral health of many of the underserved populations within our area and the state of West Virginia.
Dr. Bowling is an active member of the American Dental Association, the West Virginia Dental Association, and the Blennerhassett Dental Society. Dr. Bowling has served as Vice President and several terms as Secretary-Treasurer of the Blennerhassett Dental Society.
Dr. Bowling grew up involved in team sports, particularly enjoying basketball and soccer. He believes in the great benefits that team sports can bring to all kids, regardless of talent and ability. He has spent nearly 15 years as a youth soccer coach, boys and girls at all age levels, both recreational and club.
Dr. Bowling met his future wife, Dr. Lynch-Bowling while in Dental School at WVU. They embarked on a wonderful journey together that has currently led to twenty years of practicing dentistry together as associates and then owners of a successful business. They have two children at home that were raised with love and persistence and now will watch with pride as their kids prepare to begin their own journeys.

Dr. Michelle Lynch Bowling, DDS.
Dr. Lynch-Bowling grew up in the eastern panhandle of WV, in the city of Martinsburg. She graduated top five in her class from Martinsburg Senior High School and was a talented ballet dancer. She attended Boston College and graduated cum laude with a degree in Biology in 2002. While in Boston, Dr. Lynch-Bowling found an interest in dentistry. During college, she volunteered at East Boston Neighborhood Health Center as a dental assistant in the pediatric clinic. Under the guidance of the wonderful dentists and dental students from Boston University, she considered making dentistry a career. Dr. Lynch-Bowling came back to her home state and graduated with a Doctor of Dental Surgery degree in 2006 from WVU School of Dentistry. Dr. Lynch met Dr. Jason Bowling while in Morgantown and wed in 2006 in her hometown of Martinsburg, WV. Both have worked here in Parkersburg, under the guidance of Dr. Wayne Dunn, ever since. Dr. Lynch-Bowling was granted The Spirit of Wood County Award for her community achievement in planning and working the Mission of Mercy Project (MOM) in 2009. This project served over 1000 people with free dental services over two days. Dr. Lynch-Bowling still enjoys ballet and teaches a class at PACE studio. She has a son and a daughter and is happily a soccer and track mom.

Associate Dentist
Sydni Harris-Evans, DDS.
Dr. Sydni Harris-Evans is a native of Washington, West Virginia and a lifelong patient of Bowling and Dunn. She graduated from Parkersburg South High School in 2017. Following high school, Dr. Sydni attended West Virginia University and obtained her bachelor’s degree in biochemistry. She continued her education at West Virginia University School of Dentistry and received a degree of Doctor of Dental Surgery in May 2025. While in dental school, Dr. Sydni was President of the WVU chapter of the American Student Dental Association, secretary of the Class of 2025, and an active member in the dental fraternity Delta Sigma Delta. She became a member of the American Dental Association, the West Virginia Dental Association, and the Blennerhassett Dental Society upon graduation. Dr. Sydni enjoys spending time with her husband, family, and golden retrievers while cheering on the Mountaineers and Steelers. She is excited to be joining Bowling and Dunn as an associate dentist in summer 2025 and welcoming a baby girl in January 2026.
